Overview
Michael Iles is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Insurance Recovery practice group. Mr. Iles focused his practice on complex civil litigation and representing individual and business policyholders in insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts. He also has significant experience in the practice areas of general commercial litigation and civil litigation, with an emphasis in construction litigation.
Before his legal career, Mr. Iles honorably served four years on active duty in the United States Navy. While in law school, he worked with the University of Miami School of Law’s Federal Appellate Clinic and served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Broward County State Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile division.
Mr. Iles began practicing in 2018 after graduating cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to joining Ball Janik, he worked for a full-service firm with robust Insurance Counseling and Recovery and Litigation Practice Groups.
On a personal note, Mr. Iles is a devoted husband and father to his wife and three daughters.
