Overview
A native Floridian, Leah is an attorney with a focus on the insurance recovery practice group. She has experience in complex civil litigation and representing individual and business policyholders in insurance coverage litigation. She also works on diverse matters such as cease and desist, settlement negotiations, and mediation. Her professional acumen includes liaising between opposing counsels, working on litigation proceedings, and preparing trial exhibits. She has worked for several firms in Florida that have focused on personal injury and insurance matters.
In addition to her work with private firms, Leah previously worked with the United States Marshal Service in Washington, D.C., where her skills were applied to criminal cases, analytical work, and summarizing incoming crime data. For the Marshal Service, she was also tasked with analyzing incoming threats against Federal District Court Judges.
Leah earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology at Florida State University and completed her J.D. at Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where she graduated with honors in 2024. While at Barry, Leah served as a Senior Editor of the law school’s Child and Family Law Journal, was a member of the Trial Team, and the Criminal Law Society.
In her spare time, Leah enjoys photography, reading, and discovering new restaurants.
