Kimberly is a paralegal in the firm’s Construction Defect Practice Group, with over 15 years of experience in litigation and brings a wealth of knowledge and organizational expertise to support attorneys in complex legal matters. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of construction terminology and industry standards, Kimberly assists in preparing compelling cases and supports an active team of legal professionals through every phase of litigation. She has worked extensively with clients, contractors, engineers, and expert witnesses to manage cases related to faulty construction, building code violations, real estate transactions, insurance recovery, first-party damage claims, along with property damage disputes related to condominium and homeowner association matters in South Florida.
Her experience entails preparing witness files, organizing large volumes of documents, exhibits for trial, and filing motions. With a deep understanding of court rules and procedures, Kimberly has been instrumental in assisting attorneys throughout the discovery process, organizing exhibits, and working closely with witnesses and experts to gather key information. She is proficient in using legal research databases and document management software, ensuring that all case materials are well-organized and easily accessible for trial preparation.
Kimberly is unfailingly proactive in assisting the team, whether those entails performing initial case assessments, conducting pre-claim investigations, or e-filing motions quickly and efficiently. Kimberly also schedules depositions and is proficient in a host of legal-related software, including ProLaw, CompuLaw, and TrialWorks.
