Overview
Brian T. Crevasse is a partner in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction and Design and Construction Defect practice groups. Mr. Crevasse’s practice concentrates on the representation of owners and stakeholders in a wide array of construction matters. He is a Florida Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law, designated by the Florida Bar as an expert in Construction Law. He was selected to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2009-2014, and has been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers list from 2015-2022.
Mr. Crevasse is uniquely situated with an in-depth and technical understanding of many aspects of the construction industry, allowing him to tailor his practice to the representation of owners and stakeholders including general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, public agencies, and developers in all phases of the construction process, including construction disputes, litigation, arbitration and mediation. Mr. Crevasse regularly advises clients in construction defect claims, as well as general construction litigation, including payment disputes, lien law issues, payment bond claims, surety bond claims, bid protests, and delay claims. He also provides risk management advice to entities seeking to prevent claims.
Brian’s previous representation of clients in many areas of the construction industry gives him unique insight and ability to emphasize success and maximize returns for his clients.
Mr. Crevasse is a member of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust and Trial Lawyers sections. He also currently serves on the Health Services Board of Directors for Flagler Hospital, and has since 2015.
