Overview
Blake T. Konkol is a construction defect attorney in Ball Janik’s Orlando office. He represents owners and community associations regarding construction defect claims, including litigation and mediation.
Blake graduated from Penn State Law in 2024. In law school, Blake gained experience in alternative dispute resolution as an oralist both for the Willem C. Vis Moot Court and Negotiations and Mediations teams. He was also a member of the Student Bar Association’s Executive Board, he ran student organizations and served as a mentor to students in both law school and undergraduate studies.
Blake’s prior experience includes interning with the Allegheny County and Centre County Offices of the District Attorneys, firms in Colorado and Maryland, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Blake has also served on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Art Law, based in Brooklyn, NY. Among his publications are “Lifting the Veil: What are Due Diligence Requirements for the Art Market in the U.S.?” and “Goldin Hour: The Opioid Crisis and the Arts.”
