An article published on 9/6 in Law360 highlighted the firm’s new Tampa office, led by Nicholas B. Vargo, a firm’s Construction Litigation Practice Group member. The Tampa office is the firm’s fifth Florida office located at 400 North Ashley Drive, Suite 2610 in Tampa. The firm has consistently represented clients in the Tampa area and opened this office due to client demand.
“Over the last several years, we noticed a considerable amount of growth in the area and felt like it was the most logical step,” Vargo said. “It made the most sense given the number of cases we started to receive in the area. We thought it would help to have more boots on the ground to help focus and provide the best representation to ensure that clients get local attorneys who understand the systems better and are a part of the community.”
Vargo said the firm is eager to continue to help clients and protect consumers. “We see that the construction practice is needed here,” Vargo said. “Our goal is to grow as much as we’re able to and continue to keep up with the trend that we’ve been seeing.”
The firm’s Managing Partner, James C. Prichard, said the Ball Janik LLP Team looks forward “to continue to provide exceptional legal services and build solid relationships with clients as the firm expands its footprint. “Nick has served clients on the West Coast for several years, representing the interests of commercial and residential owners.”
The firm opened its Fort Lauderdale office in March and named Stephen M. Hauptman to lead that office.
