Attorney at Law Magazine highlighted Ball Janik LLP’s new attorneys, Leah Golbuff and Blake Konkol, in the firm’s Orlando office. Golbuff focuses on insurance recovery matters, while Konkol handles construction defect matters.
“We welcome Leah and Blake to our Orlando team and congratulate them for recently passing the Bar,” said James C. Prichard, Ball Janik Managing Partner. “As our firm broadens our practice in areas such as construction defect litigation and insurance matters, we are continuing to add to our headcount and provide our clients with added resources.”
Golbuff, who earned her law degree from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, represents business and individual policyholders in insurance coverage litigation and preparation of trial exhibits.
“Ball Janik is an industry leader in standing up for policyholder rights and achieving just outcomes for our clients,” she said. “I am thrilled to be working with a talented team on insurance recovery and resolving other matters in Central Florida and across the state.”
Konkol, who earned his law degree from Penn State Law, focuses on construction defect work, advocating on behalf of both owners and HOAs.
“It is an honor to be a part of Ball Janik’s respected construction defects team, and I look forward to many productive years together,” Konkol said. “Because the pace of new housing in Central Florida continues to increase, we must be ready to handle a higher number of cases surrounding construction flaws than ever before.”
