Otto, whose practice is focused on representing clients in construction and design, construction defect, and litigation matters, will continue to represent general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, developers and design professionals in construction disputes. Otto joins Ball Janik after practicing at another Portland boutique construction law firm. “We are excited to add Angela Otto as a partner. Angela M. Otto has extensive experience representing clients on construction disputes, including representing sureties and insurance companies on construction-related matters. She also represents clients on significant delay and impact claims, complex disputes, and other matters pertaining to the design and construction of multi-million dollar facilities. She has been recognized by Oregon Super Lawyers magazine in the field of Construction Law as a Rising Star for three years, and is counsel to the board for the Associated General Contractors Oregon-Columbia Chapter. She is a past Chair of the Oregon State Bar Construction Law Section and was a member of the Executive Committee between 2003 and 2010. She received her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1999, and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University in 1995.
