Jeff Perry is Special Counsel in Ball Janik LLP’s Portland, Oregon office. His principal areas of practice are corporate and taxation.

Prior to joining Ball Janik in 2005, Mr. Perry practiced for three years with the Portland office of KPMG as an M&A Manager and five years with Arthur Andersen’s Portland Office as a Manager and Tax Consultant. Mr. Perry was also a member of KPMG’s and Arthur Andersen’s National Mergers and Acquisitions Team.

Mr. Perry has provided over eight years of tax consulting services to clients in a variety of industries. His practice has focused on issues relating to business formations, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and other business transactions. Mr. Perry is also experienced in a wide variety of federal income tax issues with emphasis on corporate, pass-through and individual tax matters.

Mr. Perry received his LL.M in taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 1996. He earned his J.D. degree in 1995 from Willamette University College of Law. Mr. Perry attended the University of Oregon where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management. He is admitted to practice in Oregon.
