Tim Parks joined Ball Janik LLP in 1997 after practicing for four years at a law firm in Eugene, Oregon. His principal areas of practice are real estate and business law.
Mr. Parks has a broad base of experience in complex transactional matters, including the acquisition, sale, and financing of real property, the transfer of property in tax-deferred exchanges, and the development of hotels and other commercial properties. Mr. Parks also has a complementary corporate practice that emphasizes private development and investment companies, as well as companies in the timber and petroleum industries.
A graduate of Willamette University (B.S. in Economics, cum laude, 1989), Mr. Parks earned his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law in 1993.
Mr. Parks is admitted to practice in Oregon.
