Jeff Gardner’s principal areas of practice include representation of regional commercial banks in negotiating and documenting commercial loan workout agreements, creditors’ rights litigation, corporate financial restructuring, and representation of parties in business bankruptcy proceedings.
Jeff has authored a number of texts and presented seminars nationally on the subjects of commercial loan workouts and loan recovery strategies. Before joining the Ball Janik in 2000, Jeff was Senior Vice President and Special Assets Group Manager at U.S. Bank.
A graduate of the University of Portland (B.A. 1976, MBA 1983) and the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington (Diploma 1987), Mr. Gardner earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1990 from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
Jeff is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
