Colleen Clarke joined Ball Janik LLP in 2005. Her principal areas of practice are commercial litigation, construction litigation and employment law.
Raised in Connecticut, Ms. Clarke graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where she was lead articles editor for Law & Policy in International Business.
Prior to joining Ball Janik, Ms. Clarke practiced with Hopkins & Sutter in Chicago, Illinois and Weiss, Jensen, Ellis & Botteri in Portland, Oregon. Ms. Clarke serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Litigation Section, and the Leadership Committee of Oregon Women Lawyers. She is admitted to practice in Oregon, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
