Ball Janik LLP Attorney Daniel R. Webert Named Firm Partner

Ball Janik LLP has announced that attorney Daniel R. Webert has been elected Partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2012. Mr. Webert is in Ball Janik’s Portland office.
Daniel R. Webert joined Ball Janik LLP in 2008. His practice focuses on residential and commercial construction litigation and the representation of community associations. He is an integral member of the firm's regional and growing national practice emphasizing design and construction defect claims. As a litigator, Mr. Webert has participated as primary counsel in numerous multi-million dollar construction defect cases, including residential, multifamily and commercial buildings. He also represents community associations as their general counsel.
Mr. Webert is a member of the Litigation and Tort and Insurance Sections of the American Bar Association, and the Construction Law Sections of the Oregon and Washington State Bars. He is active in the Oregon and Washington chapters of Community Association Institute (CAI) and Oregon Washington Community Association Managers (OWCAM). Mr. Webert was recognized by his peers in Oregon Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Construction Litigation for 2011.
Mr. Webert earned his J.D. cum laude in 2003 from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. He earned his Honors B.A. in Political Science from Oregon State University in 1998 and was awarded a graduate fellowship to continue his studies at the City University of New York in 1998-1999.
