Ball Janik LLP Announces New Seattle Attorneys

Kevin A. Rosenfield and Matthew Osborne have joined the Ball Janik LLP Seattle’s office as associates in the firm’s government contracts, construction, and litigation practice groups.
Prior to joining Ball Janik LLP, Mr. Rosenfield was an associate in the Seattle office of K&L Gates LLP where he focused on civil litigation in both state and federal courts which a heavy emphasis on construction law and litigation. Currently, Mr. Rosenfield serves as a board member for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of King County. A graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., with high honors, History, 2000), he received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2003. He is admitted in Washington, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Osborne served in a variety of roles as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, including company commander, battalion operations officer and chief of a Special Police Transition Team. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his work during his second tour in Iraq leading the first advisor team to work with an Iraqi National Police battalion. A graduate of Whitman College (B.A., English, 1993), he received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2009. During law school, he was a judicial extern for Chief Judge Robert Lasnik of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Mr. Osborne is admitted to practice in Washington.
