Jessica O’Reilly is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction and Litigation practice groups. Ms. O’Reilly’s practice is devoted to assisting clients solve complex construction problems with a focus on representing owners in prosecuting construction defect and insurance coverage claims. She has significant experience handling multimillion dollar construction defect cases including residential, multi-family, single-family custom homes, condominiums, and commercial buildings.

Jessica O’Reilly is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction and Litigation practice groups. Ms. O’Reilly’s practice is devoted to assisting clients solve complex construction problems with a focus on representing owners in prosecuting construction defect and insurance coverage claims. She has significant experience handling multimillion dollar construction defect cases including residential, multi-family, single-family custom homes, condominiums, and commercial buildings.

Before joining Ball Janik, Ms. O’Reilly defended a variety of clients in the construction industry, including general contractors, product manufacturers and installers, design professionals and subcontractors. She represented clients from contract preparation, review, and negotiation through litigation and ultimate dispute resolution. She actively participated in trials throughout Florida. In 2013, Ms. O’Reilly served as second chair during a three-week jury trial and secured a defense verdict on a $23 million dollar negligent conversion claim.

Ms. O’Reilly is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property Section and the Construction Law Committee. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, where she serves on the Executive Committee for the OCBA Construction Division. She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum Committee on the Construction industry.

In addition to her bar memberships, Ms. O’Reilly is a member of industry-related groups and organizations including Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). Ms. O’Reilly is also a member of The Hammock Conservation Coalition, whose goal is to promote the conservation, preservation, and beautification of the Hammock barrier island.
