A former Chief of Staff of the Interstate Commerce Commission, Karl Morell is an acknowledged expert on transportation and federal regulation. In his private practice, he has 25 years of experience representing railroads, railroad equipment manufacturers, government entities, private investors, motor carriers, brokers and users of transportation services. Mr. Morell has been involved in acquisitions, mergers, control transactions, contract negotiations, rail line abandonments, competitive access cases, joint facility arrangements, railroad retirement matters and tariff issues. He has also served as an expert witness on trucking and railroad issues.

In addition to his service at the Interstate Commerce Commission, Mr. Morell also served as a member of the National Motor Carrier Advisory Committee and the United States/Canadian Transportation Consultation Group.
